MARA PROTICH IS THE OWNER OF CLOVERLEAF DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION. She was hired to design and build out a 3,300-square-foot penthouse for her clients.“The penthouse project has been an opportunity that allowed me to design the home of their dreams, and maybe a little beyond what we expected,” she says. Each room incorporates customdesigned pieces from Homestead Furniture, from the living room wall bookshelf to the stunning troubadour console with bookmatched walnut doors and end panels. The piece, designed to be the “wow factor” in the entry, is framed by a deep blue lacquered wall and collection of artwork that greets you as you step off the elevator.
Homestead also worked with Cloverleaf to realize a pair of 11-foot tall dry bars using curly maple finished with a high gloss black stain. The pair are complete with pull out drawers to hold bottles of the clients’ bourbon collection. Other requested details that Homestead obliged include removable wine racks and antique brass legs, to stunning results. Homestead worked with Cloverleaf to add a channel for the addition of LED lighting. “Our clients’ vision was to create a space that flows seamlessly from one room to the next,” Mara says. “Each detail, from finishes to hardware to trim, is realized with all the Homestead pieces. The ability to personalize the items makes the space beautiful, inviting and comfortable.”
